Three magnetic-mount holders cover liquid samples, excised tissue and live animals. All of them seat in the chamber the same way, so switching between study types takes seconds.

Contrast agent and probe characterisation

Tissue holder

  • Samples are secured in plastic film and mounted in the holder, protecting both user and tissue
  • Wide clamping points with a 70 mm positioning range fit samples of various sizes

Mouse holder


In vivo longitudinal studies

  • Continuous anesthesia gas delivered through the hollow mounting shaft
  • Cushioned paw mounts and a bite bar give the repeatable positioning longitudinal work depends on
  • An adjustable support block fits subjects of different sizes and minimises stress on the animal
  • Preparation time under five minutes; an MRI-compatible configuration is available
